Samantha Kramer, LMHCA

Samantha Kramer, LMHCA

Samantha Kramer is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate with a growing focus in treating those who have experienced trauma. Samantha has experience working with all age groups, especially teens, adults, couples and families. Samantha also has a lot of experience running therapeutic groups. She has been able to work with those who experience Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bi-Polar, and other diagnosis. Samantha’s career has also allowed her to work with those who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. Samantha used neurodiversity affirming and evidence based practices such as Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Samantha’s career started by graduating with a degree in Forensic Psychology and Corrections from Tiffin University. She then went on to work as a caseworker for Children’s Services in Columbus Ohio for 3.5 years. During this time she was able to share and provide resources to families in need. After this Samantha became a Supervisor of Care Coordination where she worked with a team of 6 and helped families link with community services.
During this time Samantha also worked towards getting her degree from Capella University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Samantha volunteered at a residential facility and worked with teens who have experienced severe trauma. Samantha then interned at an outpatient day school for children who struggle with behavioral issues. Samantha was able to help the children through crisis and family issues. As well as work with them to develop coping skills.
Since obtaining her Master’s Degree, Samantha has worked in private practice here in the Seattle area.
