Zahra Muse, LMFT-A
Zahra Muse, LMFTA is a licensed marriage and family therapist associate at The Center’s Federal Way office and via telehealth. She approaches therapy from a systemic and person-centered perspective, with deep respect for the ways human beings make meaning in the face of suffering. Her work is influenced by traditions of existential and relational thought, where the therapeutic relationship itself becomes the ground for healing.
Zahra’s practice centers on the most enduring human concerns: grief and loss, the awareness of mortality, the search for belonging, and the struggle to live authentically in relationships. She believes that therapy is not about offering quick solutions but about creating space to explore what it means to carry sorrow and resilience side by side. Her clinical work often engages clients confronting illness, loss, and trauma, though the heart of her work lies in helping people ask and live with the most difficult questions about love, freedom, identity, and meaning.
Her approach honors authenticity and presence, seeing therapy as a collaborative conversation that bridges pain and possibility. She is committed to walking alongside clients with curiosity and compassion, holding both the gravity of suffering and the quiet potential for transformation.
